• Description

  Human Desc: This androgynous girl is likely in her late teens, though her silver eyes convey a distant wisdom that defies the count of years. She always wears the same loose tunic top with worn blue jeans and sturdy hiking boots. Her build is a beanpole lean 5'11 sporting narrow hips, a flat chest, and shaggy ear-length brown hair with an unusual undercoat of coppery red. The structure of her generously freckled face is somewhat feral; thin lips, long nose, tilted eyes. Yet there's also something bestial in the way she moves, the low timbre of her voice, the alien wildness of her gaze.   Lupus Desc: A bigger than average she-wolf with long lean limbs and predatory grace. Her soft and shaggy fur is a warm, nearly foxish red-brown that fades or darkens subtly on various parts of her body. Inky black marks her nose and the end of her tail, but it is her eyes that really stand out. They're startling. Not for their color... silver-white isn't so unusual for a lupine. It is the haunting intensity and expressiveness of the gaze itself; as though she perceives a world beyond the one most see, and she would share this vision, if other creatures could only understand. • Biography

  She was born at the Wolf Hollow sanctuary in Ipswich, MA to their resident Alpha female. She was always an odd pup; prone to randomly staring at butterflies, birds, human volunteers, or even nothing at all with a probing intensity. Her ears swiveled at sounds no one else could hear and she was the quietest of her litter. When she chose to vocalize, her howl was high and keening, like a mournful song.
  
  Upon reaching two years old, during a rainy night where the moon wasn't even visible for more than an hour, she had her First Change. Fortunately for her, a staff member was of the Children of Gaia tribe. They were there to help her through her First Change; no human lives were lost, although she did kill two dogs when she first broke through the fence. She was officially listed as an escaped animal that was presumed dead. In reality she was brought to a small nearby Caern.
  
  Her deed name comes from her Rite of Passage. The task of the aspiring young werewolves in her temporary pack was to find a hidden fetish, and she decided to enlist the aid of a bird spirit to scout for them. It seemed quite charmed by her. The bird said she 'carries the sky in her heart'. They might not have discovered the object's location without the spirit's help, so its compliment became her name after their quest's success.
  
  Carrie spent two years at that little out of the way place, joining the Fianna tribe and learning a bit from the resident Ritemaster. Still, she felt restless, as though there were somewhere else she needed to be. Now she has come to Salem. Will she find a place and a pack here, or is this just another stop on her journey to where she's supposed to be?
